I'm a backend engineer focused on the parts of systems that don't get photographed: ingestion pipelines, storage layers, scheduler queues, observability. I like problems where correctness, latency, and cost all push against each other.
Before joining Algolia I did a backend internship at Datadog (London) working on the metric-ingestion path, and a backend internship at Doctolib (Paris) on partner-API integrations. I hold a Master's in Software Systems Engineering from UCL and a Computer Science Engineering degree from Télécom Paris.
I use Copilot and Claude Code daily — for design, for prototyping, for code review, and for getting into unfamiliar codebases quickly.

A small CLI for inspecting Postgres query plans against a recorded pg_stat_statements snapshot. Useful when the running DB is in another region and you can't EXPLAIN directly.

A namespace-suspender controller for clusters used by multiple teams. Auto-scales idle dev namespaces to zero, restores them on a label flip. Tested against kind + a real EKS cluster.

An opinionated FastAPI starter I keep re-using: structured settings, OTel tracing wired in, a docker-compose for postgres + redis, and a small set of pytest fixtures. Not a framework, just a project shape.
